Just Released! your Best Kept Marketing Secret #1.
Headline Writing Tips That Will Generate Results.
It’s common knowledge that you’ve only one chance to , in only 8 seconds your reader will make a decision if she should continue reading your sales letter or ezine.
8 seconds is not a lot of time to convince a website visitor to do anything, let alone to convince them that they must keep reading your sales copy.
A successful article or web page begins with a knockout caption, if your heading sucks then you have next to no chance at all of making sales.
Few writers really understand the techniques behind crafting a quality caption many arn’t even aware of what I am going to expose now:
There are many types of headline, selecting the most suitable one for your requiremments will help or hinder your long term profits. Here a list of just some of the different types of headlines:
1. The Question header; I’ve started with this one because it’s one of my favorites. This type of caption gets my attention every time.
I find that this technique works best when coupled with a question that makes site visitors stop and think, this is an example:
“Have you made real money with your online business, you haven’t, then what are you doing wrong?”
As you can see this is a very powerful way to grab your site visitors attention and make them read on.
2. The Direct header; You see these types of heading all over the web. take this example:
“The Amazing Marketing System That Will Do All The Work For You!”
3. The How To Caption; This type of heading has been so overused recently
and yet it still holds it’s appeal as everyone needs to know ‘How To’ do something or other. example of a ‘How To’ header:
“How To Make Your Internet Fortune Easily & With Little Effort.”
4. The Testimonial Header. If done right then the testimonial headline can be a real eye catcher, but if it’s done wrong then it will drag your sales down to nothing in little time at all.
If you’re going to use this technique then make sure the testimonials you use are real and that they carry as much impact as possible.
5. The Command Heading; I’m not a great fan of these types of
caption but they do get the job done. heres an example:
“This Is A Once In A Lifetime Opportunity, Take It While You Can!”
6. The Problem Caption; this type of title is great because everyone has a problem that needs to be solved. a quick example of a problem headline:
“If Your newsletter building Efforts Are Failing Then Why Not Let Us Help You!”
7. The Guarantee Caption. Used properly this type of header can really grab your site visitors’ attention, take this example:
“Guaranteed To Increase Your Profits By Over 80% Or You’ll Get A 100% Refund!”
8. The News Title; This a good headline method simply because it dares to be different. a quick example news caption:
“New Discovery Reveals That Making Money On The Web Is Possible!”
9. The Case History Header; This again is another great headline form because it uses a different approach than many headings you see today. take this
example:
“An American Reveals How He Went from Loser To Overnight Success And How You Can
Too!”
10. The Reason Why Headline; I like this ‘tell it to them as it is. a quick example:
7 Reasons Why You Will Lose Out With Your Internet Marketing If You Fail To Act Now!”
